Recently, the independently R&D and manufactured High-reliability Online Monitoring Device for Dissolved Gases in Transformer Oil by Hubei INFOTECH System Technology Co., Ltd. has clinched the top "Excellent+" rating in the on-site assessment of high-reliability online monitoring devices for dissolved gases in transformer oil organized by State Grid Corporation of China, thanks to its outstanding technical performance and stability. The device is now eligible for on-site pilot application, marking another national authoritative recognition for INFOTECH in the field of intelligent monitoring for power equipment.

Stellar On-site Performance Empowers Transformer Operation and Maintenance

In the rigorous on-site assessment conducted by State Grid, INFOTECH’s device delivered exceptional performance across key performance indicators including reliability, data accuracy and environmental adaptability.

During the reliability verification, the equipment first underwent continuous testing in a low-temperature and low-humidity test environment, and was then placed in a high-temperature and high-humidity whole-vehicle test chamber at 65℃ and 95% humidity for a 400-hour continuous test. After the test, it was restored to a normal temperature environment of 25℃ for another 72 hours of continuous testing. Throughout the entire process, the equipment operated stably and effectively with complete relevant test records.

Core Technological Breakthroughs Set a New Industry Benchmark

INFOTECH’s online oil and gas monitoring device is based on the new generation of photoacoustic spectroscopy gas detection technology, integrated with laser self-calibration and intelligent sensing technologies. It has overcome long-standing industry challenges such as laser wavelength drift and intensity attenuation in traditional technologies, achieving a dual leap in detection precision and long-term stability.

Ultra-high precision detection: The minimum detection limit of acetylene (C₂H₂) reaches 0.1ppm, and the detection accuracy of hydrogen (H₂) is ±2ppm, far superior to industry standards, enabling the accurate capture of trace fault gases from transformers at the early stage.

Minimal maintenance throughout the life cycle: Adopting a carrier gas-free design, the device requires no frequent calibration or consumable replacement. Leveraging photoacoustic spectroscopy intelligent sensing technology, it features no mechanical vibration or loss and a hermetic structure, boasting a service life of 15 years. This greatly enhances the intelligence of transformer operation and maintenance while slashing O&M costs.

Rapid response: Combined with semiconductor laser, photoacoustic spectroscopy filtering algorithm and intelligent sensing technology, the device effectively avoids gas cross-interference and can complete a high-reliability full-component gas detection within 60 minutes.

Zero impact on transformers: Its installation and operation do not interfere with the normal working of transformers. The constant temperature vacuum degassing process is conducted without exposure to external air, and the tested oil samples are reinjected non-destructively, realizing zero external contamination and zero oil sample loss throughout the entire process.

Intelligent management: The system supports remote centralized monitoring of multiple sets of online monitoring devices and provides comprehensive trend analysis. It is compatible with MODBUS and IEC61850 protocols as well as B-code and NTP remote time synchronization, and issues early warnings at all O&M levels, facilitating the unattended intelligent O&M of power grids.
